From August 22 to August 28, 2026, the "Sport Palace" national sports complex near Varna will host a remarkable event for intellectual sport enthusiasts — the 51st edition of the National Youth Chess Cup "Morsko Konche" (Sea Seahorse). Carrying a rich history of over half a century, this traditional youth tournament annually gathers young talents and transforms the Bulgarian Black Sea coast into a hub of exciting tactical battles.This year, the prestigious competition will bring together over 100 young chess players from Bulgaria, Moldova, and Germany.
